Dr. Lamar Lane Jr., D.D.S
Hello! I am Dr. Lamar Lane Jr. I am excited to introduce myself to you and hope that you will allow me the opportunity to get to know you and your family. It has been a pleasure to meet some of you already. I have been in private practice for 26 years. I graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1983 and started a family practice in Rayville, Louisiana at that time. I have been married to my wife, Heather, for 10 years. We are so blessed to have four children between us. Trey is 24 and is married to Gail, who is 23. Kathryn is 21, Macy is 18, and Ellie is 17. We also have a 9 year old Golden Retriever named Charlie Bear.
Heather and I moved to Little Rock from Louisiana in November 2005. After getting to know Heather's family, I felt that one day we would move to Little Rock just to be close to all of them. We often talked about the timing of this and didn't really know if it would be one day after retirement or if the right opportunity presented itself, maybe before then. We got the opportunity sooner than expected when the hurricane hit Louisiana in 2005. Unfortunately, there were many dentists who lost their practices. Because of this, my practice sold fast. We were very sad about the hurricane but were glad that something good could come out of it for us and that was our move to Little Rock. There are many things we love about living here including the natural beauty, a good economy, and a love for football but the greatest is the love we have for Heather's family. We also attend Fellowship Bible Church and really enjoy being involved in such a wonderful church.
I bought Dr. Terry Watson's practice when we moved here. I realized after meeting Dr. Watson that we shared a common love for our patients and the practice of dentistry. Dr. Watson impressed me as such a high quality individual that it is no surprise he attracted so many wonderful patients. I have had big shoes to fill! It has been a privilege to meet some of you already and I look forward to meeting more of you.
Thank you for considering me as your dentist. I am dedicated to maintaining your dental health. I pledge to you a desire to love you as a person and care for your dental needs in any way I can to the best of my ability.
